Stella Maris Marrello (flute)

She has studied flute at the National Music Conservatory “Carlos Lopez Buchardo”, graduating with top marks. Stella’s teachers include Olga Perez, Luis Rocco, Oscar Piluso, Claudio Barile. She attended many Flute and Chamber Music courses given by José Ananías Souza López, Felix Renggli and Jordi Mora among others. Marrello won the following prizes: Second prize at the II National Competition “New Classical Players”, Special honors at the “I National competition for young Argentinean players”, organized by the Bahía Blanca Symphonic Orchestra, First prize at the Musical Competition “ Young Players”, organized by the National Radio.
    As a soloist Stella Maris has appeared with many orchestras including: The Bariloche Camerata, Police Symphonic Orchestra and Colón Theatre Academic Orchestra, in which she was a member.
She was a founder member of the Aleph Flute quartet, with whom she obtained numerous prizes and performed in Argentina and aboard.

Natalia Silipo (oboe)

She started studying music at the National Music Conservatory “Carlos Lopez Buchardo” with Marcelo Groz. She then continued studying with Pedro P. Cochiararo and Rubén Albornóz.
In 1989 she was the first oboe at the “Radio Nacional” Youth Orchestra. In 1991 she won Honors at the “Argentinean Music Competition” organized by the “Banco Mayo Foundation”. Two years later she continued studying in London at the “Guildhall” School of Music and Drama where she graduated in Music. In 1997 she was a member of the Argentinean National Music Orchestra “Juan de Dios Filiberto”. She is currently the solo oboe of the Argentinean Theatre Orchestra of La Plata and also the oboe player of the woodwind quintet of the National University of La Plata. As a soloist Natalia has performed with many notable Orchestras such as the “Omega Sinfonietta”, “Mayo Chamber Orchestra”, “Colón Theatre Orchestra” and “Bariloche Camerata”.

Ernesto Imsand (bassoon)

He started studying music with Cesar Benitez in Santa Fe. He then studied with Alberto Merenzon in Buenos Aires. He attended many courses in the country and aboard given by prestigious musicians such as Noel Devos (Brazil), Arthur Grossman and Cristopher Weart (USA) among others. He received financial help by “Antorchas Foundation” which allowed him to improve his knowledge with outstanding teachers of Buenos Aires. From 1990 to 1995 he was solo bassoon of the Symphonic Orchestra of Entre Ríos, and also solo bassoon of the Band of the same city. He is currently the solo bassoon of the National Symphonic Orchestra and a member of the “Argos” woodwind quintet, and of the“Argentrio”reeds trio.

Marcos Puente Olivera (piano)

He has graduated at the Music Conservatory “Alberto Ginastera” of Morón, where he took lessons with Rosa Antonelli. He attended piano and Chamber music courses given by: Josef Stompel, Adolfo Montecino, Vladimir bakk and Jordi Mora. He won a fellowship to assist summer courses in France, Brazil, Spain, and Italy. He won the first prize in many competitions: “Asociación Cultural Armenia”, “III Bienal de Arte Joven Ciudad de Bs.As”, V Competition “Ciudad de Necochea”, “III Biennial Piano Competition of Buenos Aires Music Festivals” and “VI Chamber Music Competition Franz Liszt”. As a soloist he performed with different Orchestras such as: Tres de Febrero Orchestra, San Martín Orchestra, Alberto Ginastera Symphonic Band and the Orchestra of the XX Music Course of Vic, Barcelona. He is currently a piano teacher at the “Alberto Ginastera” Conservatory of Moron and also teaches in the School of Music Art in San Isidro. He is a member of the chamber music group “Música Viva”.

       It’s comforting to found argentinean musicians of this level, as the members of the Buenos Aires Classic Group who play in trios, quartets or quintets. Is that Stella Maris Marrello, Natalia Silipo, Carlos Céspedes, Ernesto Imsand and Marcos Puente Olivera give musicality lessons at the Club Hípico.
… the Concert piece Nº2, for clarinet, bassoon and piano of Mendelssohn. The incisive ingenious game an the romantic vein are show in the pure and delightful phrasing of Céspedes’s clarinet, opposite with a flexible bassoon, both supported by the piano that remind as the fantastic scherzi of the german composer.
